Hello Friends, and welcome to the first edition of ChitChat!, the official Charmed! newsletter! Releasing to subscribers on the first of every month, it will contain information and updates about Charmed! the event and the people involved in putting the event together. ChitChat! is just one of several ways that we will be sharing information with you in the months leading up to Charmed!2024, which will be happening in Annapolis, MD January 11th through 14th, 2024.

What’s New for May
It’s been three months since Charmed!2023 and one of the exciting changes we’ve made is the expansion of our ConCom (Convention Committee.) In order to create the best event possible, we’ve grown from a committee of 6 to one of 9!
Meet the new folks:
gothsocks - Technology Coordinator
gothsocks returns after a brief hiatus and will be responsible for the technical behind-the-scenes infrastructure of our Discord and Charmed!2024 Online, as well as providing backup for AskJeeves and Psy. Definitely not doing the jobs of 4 people… yet.
Lynx - Event Coordinator
Last year’s attendees may recall Lynx as our amazing Dungeon Coordinator. They had so much fun that they asked for MOAR WORK, so for Charmed!2024 Lynx’s role has been expanded to organizing all evening events, both online and in person. Lynx will also be available as support for Kitty Sylvie.
~T~ - ConCom Coordinator
You might remember ~T~ as a member of the Consent Team. As a member of the ConCom, ~T~ will be responsible for herding cats wrangling wranglers the general administration of the ConCom, as well as being available to other ConCom members for support.

AskJeeves - Hotel and Operations
Keeps us (and you) in hotel rooms, signage, and bandaids.*
(*This list is incomplete, due to lack of available space in this newsletter. If it involves the hotel or any happenings at the in-person con, AskJeeves handles it.)
CuriousKatie - Registration
Sees all, knows all; you can’t get into the convention without her.*
(*Manages incoming registrations, verifies ages, designs/prints badges, manages in-person registration.)
EnScenic - Marketing and Information Desk
Has answers for your questions, even the weird ones.*
(*Answers questions on Discord and posts updates via most social media. Writes this newsletter.)
Kitty Sylvie - Volunteer Coordinator
Secretly controls the con.*
(*Recruits and organizes volunteers, as well as their rooms, schedules, food supply, and whatever other needs appear.)
PsychPermit - Website Guru and Onsite Coordinator
Is probably doing something we forgot needed doing.*
(*Website maintenance and updates, keeping the in-person con running smoothly, and yes, literally doing the things that we forget need doing.)
Wiseguy - Programming
Always teaching 6 classes in his mind.*
(*Soliciting and scheduling of classes. Liaises with the consent team and answers most of the general inquiries about classes, presenters, evening events, etc.)
